Jan 01, 2012 Dr. Rajesh Mohan was appointed Chairman, Department Of Medicine at Kimball Medical Center, Barnabas Health, Lakewood, NJ, starting January 2012. Dr. Mohan is a patron member of MOCAAPI and AAPI.

Dr. Mohan is an interventional cardiologist who graduated from University College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He completed his Internal Medicine residency from Metropolitan Hospital Center, New York Medical College, NY, Cardiovascular fellowship from East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, TN and Interventional Cardiology fellowship from University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore, MD. Dr. Mohan is board certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology and Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Fellow of the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions and Founding Member of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography.

Dr. Mohan is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at New York Medical College and is on medical staff at Kimball Medical Center, Community Medical Center, Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Staten Island University Hospital and Richmond University Medical Center (formerly St. Vincent’s Medical Center), teaching and supervising medical students, residents, cardiology and interventional cardiology fellows. He has published research papers with particular interests in myocardial infarction, culprit plaque and pulmonary embolism. Dr. Mohan was awarded the Paul E. Perlman award for research excellence by East Tennessee State University, TN. Dr. Mohan is the President and partner in North Atlantic Medical Associates, P.C.

He is an accomplished speaker on coronary artery disease, atrial fibrillation, dyslipidemia and heart failure. Dr. Mohan has been selected as one of America’s top Cardiologists by the Consumers’ Research Council of America from 2006-2011, and was named as a NJ Top Doctor by NJ Top Docs.
